My role is as an enabler. I help business leaders gain clarity over their challenges and view them from all angles; identify options; explore tools and techniques; and create momentum to move forward. In this way, I act as a catalyst to their thinking – taking them from ‘stuck’ to ‘action and progress’.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my professional background. I received rigorous training as a Chartered Accountant and performed numerous audits before specialising in Corporate Finance where I advised on M&A activity and Management Buy-Outs in particular. What energised me most was the passion and ambition of the directors and management teams and I understood that this human element was the essential ingredient to success. As a coach, I am able to support my clients with their leadership challenges whilst understanding their business.
Through my experience as a Non-Executive Director myself, I understand Boardroom dynamics and the information required and reviewed at this level.
In other words, I am someone that leaders can talk to. I understand the person, the team and the business and create a safe space for all to overcome challenges, and to grow and thrive.
To provide the best support to my clients I am committed to my own continuous improvement plan and undertake new training each year. I have trained in different disciplines in the coaching arena and worked with leaders in their fields of neuroscience; NLP; Clean Language; Time to Think; Thinking Hats; Challenging Coaching, The 5 Behaviours and more.
My clients all have something in common… they want to become better leaders; they want to lead highly effective teams; and they want their businesses to flourish.
If you’d like to discover different perspectives, fresh thinking, new options, more tools, inspiring techniques and unlock your potential, then I am here to help.
By working with Growth Plans® we are not just talking and learning theory; we are actually going to invest time and focus to make things happen, because when you do that, transformation can begin.
Typically, our clients are directors of businesses with 40-300 employees.
At that size the business is well established; there is a critical mass and there are structures in place but they all experience the inevitable challenges of HR issues, growing the business and managing stakeholders.
