Coaching can help Directors achieve their aspirations for both their businesses and themselves.
It can be of specific benefit if you are facing a current challenge and unsure as to how to approach or solve it. On a more regular basis, it is also used to help leaders to lead even more effectively and to help managers achieve and cope with promotion in their career paths.
Managers, directors, owners all face challenges every day. Many will be business orientated, but often it will be personal issues that need to be addressed as they can impact on work-life. Coaching can be significant in helping successful leaders sharpen their leadership skills to tackle new challenges and inject fresh thinking.
Liz blends her varied experiences and skills to tailor her approach to you, your style, your challenges and your goals. Her main focus is always in aligning the coaching to the goals of the business.
With qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring from Warwick University, Liz is able to work with individuals or teams to help them achieve their goals. “With individuals, I draw on my training at Warwick University and experiences with coaching clients who have faced a variety of challenges in their business and personal lives. I find coaching sessions wonderfully rewarding as the client reaches that ‘Eureka’ moment and leaves feeling energised with a clear plan of their next steps.
“With an interest in helping management teams, I gained further specialism in coaching with the Time to Think, Thinking Environment model”. Using this approach developed by Nancy Kline, I am able to challenge teams and keep them focused on finding solutions to their challenges and helping them interrogate the assumptions and blockages in their path.
As a chartered accountant and with my advisory background, I have a great deal of experience in helping teams achieve their goals. As a coach, I build on this base to guide, challenge and support you in your aims.”
Liz prefers to work face-to-face with clients, but where this is not feasible, then Skype provides a second best alternative. In either situation, the one essential is to be in a quiet environment without any interruption. Clients often find that off-site works best for these purposes.
If you feel that coaching would be beneficial to you, then contact Liz to discuss without commitment.
